If you want easy take-out Peruvian chicken, get the half chicken with fried yucca. A house favorite for comfort food. The menu has much more for those interested. My neighbors swear by their pupusas.

Reliable Thai. Not cheap, but pretty good. For take-out, recommend Zabver, which has pan-Asian and more options.

Steps away and great for simple produce, fresh bread, eggs, milk, locally roasted coffee, wine, beer, etc. Prices slightly higher than nearby Safeway, Target, Harris Teeter, etc. But, again, it is a 30 second walk! They also have a decent meat counter and deli. Oh, and the Trickling Springs Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream is stellar.

Food options are many: Chipotle, Chik-Fil-A, Panda Express, Panera Bread, Five Guys, Pete's Pizza, Potbelly, Cava, and much more. The Heights is one of the nicer sit-down restaurants. There is another beer/wine store (perhaps with better selection than the others listed here) called Divines. The list goes on.

This is not a grill. It is a dive bar. Often empty. Sometimes has a couple drinkers. Or hipsters. Sometimes many. Pabst in the can is cheap. Only food is Utz potato chips and Slim Jims.
