Insalata Ricca is my favourite place for lunch on a sunny saturday. They have more than 30 different type of salad, are very friendly and a large outdoor space for sitting on the street. You may of course eat also other things than salad even if I still recommend salad and bruschetta.
Average price is around 15 euro per person.

This is not a well known restaurant in the hart of Rome. Speciality is the home made pasta but also the appetiser are fancy. If it is the season take the Pasta with carciofi (artichaut).

My favourite place. This is a typical Roman Trattoria with very good food and very nice atmosphere. In the hart of trastevere it is at approximately half an hour walking distance from the apartment. Take a taxi from Pizza del Popolo to Pizza Trilussa if you prefer and then walk for a couple of minutes.
If you plan to go, please make a reservation to avoid bad surprises (i.e. no table available).

Taverna Trilussa
My favourite place. This is a typical Roman Trattoria with very good food and very nice atmosphere. In the hart of trastevere it is at approximately half an hour walking distance from the apartment. Take a taxi from Pizza del Popolo to Pizza Trilussa if you prefer and then walk for a couple of minutes.
If you plan to go, please make a reservation to avoid bad surprises (i.e. no table available).

This is a traditional Roman restauarant for which time seems to have been suspended. Menu is the same since 1950 and the restaurant had some important reviews from known ccokers.

There a lots of bar/pub in Rome but if you want something not tourist at all and far from Roman Tourist night this is the location for you.
