Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please choose a different experience. We want you to come away feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. Our kayaking eco tour explores both the wonderful waters & beautiful beaches of Shell Key Preserve. This is an entirely outdoors experience! Take a clear kayaking adventure through Shell Key Preserve, a tropical paradise with unique marine habitats. Your knowledgeable ecotour guide will welcome you and provide brief paddling and safety instructions. Then, you’ll be loaded into your tandem clear kayak and off on a 2-hour adventure! Your tour guide leads the way around the mangrove islands, through the shallows, and to the beach. If the tide is high, your guide will show you a hidden mangrove tunnel. You’ll also take a break at Shell Key Beach, where you can collect shells, take in the views, and be surrounded by nature. While in the preserve, be on the lookout for a Manatee or the beautiful pink Roseate Spoonbills in the summer months. Dolphins frolic in crystal-clear waters throughout the year, and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. A smiling face will greet you as soon as you arrive at our launch site. We will provide you with ice cold drinking water, a waterproof bag to protect your cellphone, keys, wallet, etc. We'll walk down to the kayak launch area and go over all safety precautions including proper use of your life jacket & provide a detailed paddle lesson. Once we are ready to paddle, we will embark on a two hour kayak adventure exploring beautiful Sarasota Bay and the world famous Lido Key mangrove tunnels. I'll tell you all about the interesting history of our beautiful bay as well as talk to you about the incredible flora and fauna we encounter! If we are lucky, we may even be visited be amazing dolphins and gentle manatees. Then, we will journey through Lido Key's spectacular mangrove tunnels while we learn of their importance to our coastal ecosystem. Once our tour is over, we will send you on your way with memories that will last a lifetime. As your host, I'll guide you through the Silver River via glass bottom kayaks! I'll make sure you experience all the hot spots that you're otherwise likely to miss on your own, while offering a unique underwater view of sunken shipwrecks, deep blue springs, caves, artifacts and more! We'll share our waterways with an abundance of wildlife such as manatees, alligators, turtles, otters, monkeys and several species of fish and birds! This is an experience you'll never forget; equal parts serene and adventurous and appropriate for all ages and experience levels! My glass bottom kayaks are the only of it's kind on the Silver River! They come with a sit-in-top design, which means they are well suited to all-weather paddling. The cockpit is dropped lower into the boat, which means stability is greatly increased, paddler comfort is enhanced, and wave impact is reduced. It's nearly impossible to tip or flip! My kayaks come standard with a transparent hull for underwater viewing all the way to the bottom, even in the deepest springs in the river. There's plenty of room for a comfortable, stable ride! Our guests will get to experience sailboarding also known as windsurfing. A once popular sport in the 80s and 90s, windsurfing represents the ultimate adventure and sense of freedom. Now making a comeback windsurfing is starting to regain popularity, and we are glad to be one of the few places where you can still learn and enjoy this beautiful sport. By harnessing the power of the wind, the guest gets to experience sailing from point A to B and back. This guided experience features extra large (paddle board sized) boards fitted with small and lightweight sails which just about anyone can handle from kids to adults. In addition, the host is on the water along with the guests during the hands-on portion. It is a family-friendly endeavor, but no more than two guests are on the water at a time. The activity takes about two hours, and we meet on beautiful Lake Fairview just five minutes north of Downtown Orlando.

Come explore old Florida on this unique 3-hour tour in 100% CLEAR kayaks! We will paddle through the lush, spring-fed waterways of the Chassahowitzka River, affectionately known to us locals as the Chaz. Share the water with manatees, dolphins, alligators, river otters, and countless species of fish, and keep your eyes peeled for any of the unique species of birds above. This tour begins and ends at Seven Sisters Campground* located on a canal just off the main river. Paddle to Seven Sisters Springs, then paddle downstream to Baird Creek, a winding stream that is only accessible by small paddle crafts and is like a scene from Jurassic Park. We will pass through the lagoon of Blue Springs then onward towards the hidden gem of what is known as “The Crack,” a beautiful natural spring surrounded by forest, usually accessed on foot! Clear kayak tours through the crystalline waters of Rainbow Springs!! We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. We'll get you loaded up into your clear kayak and off we go! You will be riding in a tandem clear kayak during the experience unless booking as a solo guest. The paddle will last about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. We will be sure to take plenty of pictures and give some awesome unique facts about the area on our several picturesque stopping points! There will even be a couple of chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing spring water! The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards Rainbow Springs, the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point.
