At the base of Cascade Head, the cabin is in the Salmon River Estuary with a view of three rocks, the Ocean, and a secret "boat access only" beach. Cascade Head is a UNESCO biosphere reserve, with most of the area protected state, federal and Nature conservancy lands. Enjoy this remote nature-lovers paradise. Fish for salmon or crab out the front door, or canoe or kayak. The cabin is up two flights of stairs, in the canopy.

The house is comfortable and easily accessible from US101 south of Cannon beach and Arch Cape. You will have some difficulties deciding to stay in or head out. A great compromise is to stay in and look out as the tides come and go.
