Welcome to Indigo Woods Cabin! I We are next to a >1400 acre nature preserve with 5 miles of hiking trails. The Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Smith Mountain Lake, James River, and Carvin Cove reservoir are also close. Feel close to nature while being close to conveniences of shopping and nice restaurants just down the mountain in Salem and Roanoke. One bed/bath with a pull out sofa in living room. Pet friendly! The Gardener’s Cottage

The Gardener’s Cottage is a short drive away from I-64, UVA grounds, Scott Stadium, the downtown mall, and Wegmans. It is located in the Fry’s Springs Historic District. There are several restaurants on JPA within a reasonable walking distance. It is surrounded by flowers that attract hummingbirds, gold finches, and butterflies. The front porch has Adirondack chairs perfect for lazy evenings and morning coffee. The back yard has a small deck under oak trees and a patio next to a fern garden.

Located across the street from a popular bakery and bistro and walking distance to downtown, you will be close to everything while able to enjoy a historic building that stands out from others in the area with its unique architecture and history. There are two good sized bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and pleasant living and working spaces. In addition you will have access to a shared space and backyard that includes various recreation options including a fire pit, hot tub, and sauna.
