Sanson Terrace "Silk Barn" in Quiet Countryside

Quiet Rural Retreat in a traditional Japanese house. We renovated a 80 years small wooden house by ourselves taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.

Stay and experience the charm of "traditional rural Japan," which is still unknown to many overseas travelers. Also, don't forget to try the delicious seafood in the area.

In the spirit of Reuse & Recycle, almost all building materials were sourced from derelict local structures, and the owners rebuilt the cottage by hand over 3 years. A 2 minute walk from the beach, and a practically private surf break, Yamakujira Sou is a tranquil, warm space to relax while basking in the vibe of the Boso countryside. We have 2 bicycles for our guests to use free of charge.

English-speaking staff is available. This is an old private house built more than 100 years ago, surrounded by rice paddies. It is a quiet and peaceful place to stay and easily accessible to major sightseeing spots. -Location 1 hour to Tokyo by train 2 hours to Nikko by train 45 minutes to Kawagoe by car We can provide a transportation service to the nearest station, Hanasaki Station(15:00-17:00, 8:00-10:00)

check-in 10:00am~24:00am check-out 14pm Rental cottage front of Mt.Fuji. I want you take calm time with your loved ones in the cozy house. *It's very suburb, so you need a car(snow tires are necessary during December to April) to come and sightseen. There are livestock farms around the house. Sometimes, smells like a barn for cows. If you don't like it, I don't recommend you to book the house.
