SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

Shizuoka, guesthouse & coffeeshop「Hitoyado」

12 minutes on foot from Shizuoka station, Hitoyado is a guest house with a renovated 50 year old coffee shop on the first floor. There are restaurants and public baths in the neighborhood. It offers a simple breakfast for 500 yen (your choice of drink and toast). Run by a friendly female staff of three, it provides guests with laid-back old style atmosphere, a perfect match for your Shizuoka experience. Please stop by when you’re in Shizuoka City!

Irori Guesthouse Tenmaku Economy Double Room Lower

*Kanagawa Pref. has released it’s own COVID-19 prevention measures, and we have decided not to sell alcohol from July 22nd~August 22nd. And, last call is at 19:00. Irori guesthouse -Tenmaku- It is opened in 2018 after spending 7month for renovation of an old Japanese ryokan. You can enjoy "Irori" which is Japanese traditional fire pit, in our common space. Also, you can try some craft beer and picked up Japanese sake at bar

Easy access to Asakusa/Tokyo skytree/Kuramae! The Female dormitory accommodate up to 4 people. Solo female travellers can feel secure as they stay in our hostel. Each bed has small security box, roll curtain, reading light, USB socket and outlet socket. There is a toilet inside the room. This 2-star hostel is located in Sumida District.

Sheena & Ippei occupies a renovated 50-year-old building that was once a tonkatsu restaurant.
