But, now I’ve moved on to my next project and I’m eager to share this cottage with my guests! Summit Hill Gardens Cottage, a little bit of paradise, is a place to enjoy solitude, peace and quiet. Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.

Each cottage has an open, spacious floor plan that includes a king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker, a luxurious bathroom with large walk-in shower and stand alone bathtub, a comfy sofa with pull out bed and a cozy gas fireplace. Take a stroll on our 30 acres, check out a fishing pole and head over to the pond, or take our canoe out for a spin.

The cottage has a view of our vineyard and windmill from the cottage porch and is next to our private estate winery. Enjoy the pond and the fountain from sitting on the deck of the pond. The cottage has its own grill if you choose to cook out. Guest may stroll through the vineyard or watch a sunset from the dock at the pond. We have fish food to feed the fish.
