The National Mining Museum & Cannon Hall Farm are nearby, Peak District National Park, Leeds, York, Sheffield also within easy reach. Just 1 or 2 miles from M1 Junction 38 & 39. Refurbished to a high standard retaining many original features, with oak beams & open country views.

The Mistle is a gorgeous, quaint cottage (sleeps 4) at the far end of a historic barn. Located in the friendly village of Brockholes near Holmfirth, accessible by train, it's perfect families and friends looking for a base for a short break. It's also a great base for working. Recently renovated, you'll find it attractive, cosy and well-equipped. The cottage sits across a cobbled courtyard from our house so we're here to help. Old Gardener's Lodge near Holmfirth

Built on a hill one mile outside the picturesque town of Holmfirth and set in eight acres of woodland, the Old Gardener's Lodge self catering holiday cottage commands views over the mill pond. You will also enjoy views over the terraced gardens that date back to the 19th century. The accommodation consists of an open plan lounge, kitchen, diner on the ground floor with en suite master bedroom, twin bedroom and family bathroom on the floor below.

Smithy Cottage Holmbridge, Holmfirth

Smithy Cottage is a purpose furnished self catering holiday let and offers excellent accommodation for 4-5 people. It is not a party or reunion venue. The location is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and visitors to Holmfirth Picturedrome and the many nearby wedding locations. Regarding dogs, prior consent is required. There is a £10 fee per dog per stay, maximum two dogs. Please refer to the rules below in 'Other details to note'.
