Private Dome House on River, Minutes from Ski Hill

Beautiful dome house on the Salmo river. These three acres of forested property allow you to enjoy the quiet seclusion of nature, but remain only a thirteen minute drive to Nelson, and eight minutes from the Whitewater turn off (closer than Nelson). Return from a long day of skiing to warm up in the wood fired cast iron tub by the river or enjoy the six person electric hot tub with lounger and watch the Salmo river flow by. Or dry off by the woodstove and watch a movie on the 4K 100” projector

Delightful one bedroom log cabin

Get away from it all when you stay in a very special, cozy log cabin in a beautiful nature setting right beside the rail trail and lots of beautiful rivers and lakes near by. This unique cabin has a sink with running water, a fridge, micro wave and a coffee bar with a coffee machine where you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting on a barstool. A very comfortable couch is pulled out into a double bed. There is a picnic table on the porch. This cabin comes with its own outhouse for your safety.

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed or take a bath in the outdoor tub (May - Oct). Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Brand new 1000sq feet and everything you need for a comfortable stay ! Two bedrooms , each with a king sized bed and one with a tv. The sofa has a double pullout bed. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities . The suite offers a private covered patio to relax overlooking the garden and peekaboo of Kootenay Lake and Mountains . Convenient onsite parking for one car accessed from the alley. 10 minutes walking downhill to downtown Nelson , but a bit of a hike back up

This quiet area is surround by poplar trees and has a whole area near the river to explore, all within steps of the cabin.
