Mellomgaard is located in a quiet area of Sør-Kvaløya. The house is of high standard, with bedrooms located separately on each side of the house. Here, you'll find a harmonious atmosphere in a rural setting, free from noise, light pollution, and traffic, while still being close to nearby prepared ski slopes, Tromsø city center, and nearby natural attractions. We have our own shoreline with sand and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Mellomgaard is about a 25-minute drive from Tromsø Airport and 35 minutes from Tromsø city center. The house is located on a farm with two other separate living units, you are our only guests. It has the highest position on the property, offering fantastic views. In the summer, a boat for fishing or day trips can be rented upon request. The nature in Northern Norway is stunning, with countless hiking trails and peaks to explore. During the dark season, you can see the Northern Lights from our backyard without light pollution from the surroundings. The area offers excellent opportunities for fantastic nature experiences, with a chance to spot eagles, reindeer, moose, and other wildlife living in the Arctic climate—sometimes right outside the door. You can also book a dog sledding trip, just a 10–15 minute drive away from 3 different companies, or enjoy a horseback ride or carriage ride! On our farm, we have two horses of the Nordlandshest/Lyngshest breed. This is one of three fully Norwegian horse breeds listed as endangered on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Our horses, Frost and Peer, are happy to welcome guests by appointment. In the area, you'll also find the popular Hella outdoor area, with old buildings, great fishing opportunities, and a café in the summer. Here, you can fish from the rocks, watch boat traffic up close, grill, or visit ancient rock carvings nearby. We’re happy to recommend great hiking destinations and experiences in the area! We can assist with directions and have created a guide that we’d love to share with you before your arrival, so you can easily navigate to activities and experiences that will make your vacation perfect!

Velkommen til Ramfjorden som byr på vakker natur og høye fjell. Nyt tiden her i det frittstående huset som har alt du trenger for ditt opphold. Området er en bra lokasjon for å se nordlys og arktiske dyr. Her kan du fiske i fjorden som er islagt 6 måneder i året, gå fjellturer i nærområdet eller kjøre inn til Tromsø som tar ca. 30 min. Jeg har gratis utlån av barneseng, truger/ snøsko, sleder, akebrett, sport-, fiske og isfiskeutsyr. Kan også leie ut snowboard, skøyter og båt på forespørsel :-)

Umiddelbar tilgang til lysløypenett rett over huset. 4 min til buss, hyppige avganger til sentrum, tar ca 25 min. Matbutikk 7 min gå tur. Gratis parkering på tomta for en bil. Sørvendt terasse , og balkong med havutsikt gir midnattsol om sommeren, og god mulighet for nordlys vinterstid. Moderne, komfortabelt, fullt utstyrt kjøkken. Gjester disponerer alt

Fra dette sentrale overnattingsstedet har du enkel tilgang til alle fasiliteter som Tromsø har å tilby. Beliggenheten er strategisk med et bussholdeplass kun to minutters unna, som gir deg tilgang til fem forskjellige bussruter som dekker hele byen. I tillegg tar det kun fem minutter med buss fra holdeplassen til sentrum. Alternativt kan du nyte en hyggelig spasertur på ca. 15 minutter langs vakre omgivelser og over brua til sentrum, hvor du kan beundre byen i all sin prakt.

Grandma' s cozy cottage at Kraknes , Kvaløya

Koselig gammel hus - Grandmas – Oldstyre house. Kraknes på Kvaløya. 16 km fra Tromsø sentrum. Her kan du nyte flott natur både sommer og vinter. Utsikt mot magiske fjell og innseiling til Tromsø by. Du kan se noen av fjellene i Lyngen Alps fra huset. Her nyter du stillhet, avslapping, midnattssol på sommeren og nordlys og arktisk flott himmel på vintertid. 10 minutters kjøretur fra flyplassen og 20 minutter i bil fra huset til Tromsø Sentrum. Vi anbefaler bruk av leiebil.

Home with a view close to the mountain

Little flat where you can relax during your stay in Tromsø. Close to the mountain and the sherpastairs. If you are looking for a place where you can explore the nature around Tromsø this is perfect for you. You can go directly from the house to the mountain or into the valley of Tromsdalen, this will give you easy access to see the northern lights. It is a few minuts to the bus who takes you to the senter of Tromsø (10-15 min. by bus) and you can also walk (30-40 min)

Elvesus

Du bor 5 min fra flyplassen, og likevel i naturen. Noen meter fra havet og en elv som renner ut i havet her. Rundt husene kan du oppdage mangel ulike dyr. Rein kommer ofte forbi. Elg kan komme en raskt tur innom. Ellers springer det oter og røyskatt rundt husene. I havet svømmer sel og en sjelden gang delfiner. Et ypperlig sted for å observere Nordlys - og er det vindstille speiler det seg i havet også. Tromsø sentrum- buss, ca 15 min.

Nyt utsikten og nordlyset fra balkongen eller slapp av i spabadekaret. Fri bruk av vaskemaskin, tørketrommel, spabadekar, handklær, sengetøy, vaskemidler, kjøkken og kabel tv/internett 2 soverom med dobbeltsenger for totalt 4 personer. Komfortabel selvoppblåsbar høy luftmadrass (90x200x40cm) for en femte gjest, kan settes på soverom eller stue. Gratis parkering for en bil. Inngang på baksiden av huset med trapp opp til leiligheten.

Apartment on Whaleisland

Our house is situated on the appropriately named “whale island” (Kvaløya), just a short 15-20 minute drive to Tromsø city centre and 12 minutes to the airport (9km). This is a perfect location for those searching for a true Arctic experience, as the house is located at the main hub of Kvaløya. Dog and Reindeer sleddings are close by (3km). It is truly is the perfect place to appreciate northern Norway.

Cozy apartment in Tromsø / Tromsdalen

Best view on Fjellheisen, comfortable and hotel feel stay. Hight chance to see the northern light and new year’s fireworks orginized from the city center and Fløyen mountain infront of our house. (attached photos) What makes it even better is the central location of the house. Near by you can find the city center, the famous church and cable car, in addition to restaurants and shopping mall.

Hyggelig studioleilighet med en parkeringsplass på toppen av Tromsøya. Leiligheten ligger nært Prestvannet og flotte tur- og friluftsområder. Det er ca. 10 minutters gange til Tromsø sentrum. Busstoppet ligger 2 minutters gange fra leiligheten. Det er gode bussforbindelser til flyplassen, Fjellheisen i Tromsdalen, sentrum og diverse kjøpesenter i Tromsø. Internett er inkludert i leien.
