Outstanding Views of the beautiful Tutukaka Coast

Situated on the Tutukaka Coast, we have outstanding views of one of the worlds best diving sites - the Poor Knights Islands. We are a few minutes from the Tutukaka Marina and the outstanding Surf at Sandy Bay. Our two bedroom self contained unit is located down a private road and offers a quiet retreat for a weekend away or a great base to explore the beautiful beaches, dive the Knights or visit the nearby vineyard, golf course and Marina . Basic continental breakfast is available for guests.

Rata Karaka Bach on the Estuary

Relax and unwind at this wonderfully inviting well appointed two bedroom Bach across the road from the crystal clear waters of the Ngunguru Estuary. Stunning views of the estuary out the front and mountain ranges out the back with the added bonus of river access from the spacious back yard. Enjoy a morning cuppa or evening meal on the large rear patio overlooking the rear garden. Only a minutes walk to the local cafe, dairy, takeaways or the Estuary Bistro restaurant at the sports complex.

Stunning ocean views and all day sun make this modern, stylish family bach perfect for your holiday. Magnificent uninterrupted views from the Poor Knights around to the Hen and Chickens Islands. Furnished with everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, pantry, games and media room. With 3 king sized beds, 3 sets of king single bunks, this home can accommodate 2 families easily. There is a private bush walk and sandy Wellingtons Bay is only 2 minutes drive. The house is perfect for families.

The stand alone cabin has coastal views. Tutukaka Coast is just 30 minutes drive from Whangarei. Several beaches on our door step & numerous walking tracks. Or you may just sit back and read a book. Local eateries won't disappoint you or you may wish to explore Northland's pristine locations. Decking to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Ample parking for a boat/horse float/trailer. NO CAMPING or DOGS or CATS on property. We look forward to sharing "our piece of Paradise" with you.

Marina Vista Cabin - Quiet Secluded Beach

This is a small cabin suitable for short stays, the bedroom is small but it is compensated by the location, deck, bathroom & beach which are great. Sit on kayaks & stand-up paddle are available free of charge. Tidy comfortable cabin just meters from a lovely private beach & walking distance to cafes, fishing club & pizzeria. No road noise, safe swimming, kayaking or trips to the Poor Knights Islands. BASIC cooking only; BBQ, Fridge, plates, cups, glasses, etc. Great eateries near by.

Sandy Bay Farmstay

***LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION *** At our farm we have a very clean, tidy & comfortable self contained cabin for couples with a rustic vibe, includes king bed & attached outside bathroom with Kitchenette. If there are more than 2pp book our cute kingfisher caravan set up for 2pp (1 king single and 1 sml single). Ages 6yrs+ is preferred at our property as it is not completely fenced off and there are horses and some driveway vehicles about. Epic horse trail riding & surfing on your doorstep!

Our private guest house includes a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge, air fryer, and slow cooker. A tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel rails and a large private decking area with BBQ. There is an outdoor shower and drying area for dive gear/wetsuits with plenty of room for those wanting to bring their surfboards or kayaks.

Staffa Bay Iconic 70's Treehouse

Perched above Staffa Bay on the stunning Tutukaka Coast, this 1970s Warwick Lee–designed home is a true Kiwi bach — full of character, cosy, and surrounded by native bush with sweeping views over Woolleys Bay. Nestled among nikau palms and birdlife, this peaceful treehouse-style retreat offers direct beach access via a private track (just 25 metres from the house to the sand). The magical Whale Bay Reserve is also just a 5-minute walk away.
