Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock.

Rustic Lakefront Cabin: Our small lakefront cabin is one of 3 waterfront rental cabins located at West Pines Park Resort - just a short drive from Algonquin Park - and amongst other campsites. Your cabin is steps away from the water and sandy shoreline. Beside your cabin is a sandy beach and playground for the kids! Enjoy campfires under the stars and grab an ice cream at the Scooped Moose Ice Cream Parlour (open seasonally). Includes: canoes, kayaks and paddle boards.

The Woodland Escape

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches. Nearby are wineries, hiking trails and the Sandbanks.

Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style.
