Glenogle Farm, The Stables

Glenogle Farm is hidden amongst the pine plantations in Magoebaskloof, just 1km from the R71. The Stables is a luxury, double story guest house which is intimately positioned between the horse stables and paddock. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and comfortably sleeps 4 persons. Located against the dramatic backdrop of the Wolkberg Mountains, our rustic and cozy wooden treehouse cabin is the perfect secluded spot in nature. Just 15km out of Haenertsberg, and directly on the R528, it is perfect for a weekend of relaxation or adventuring on the mountain. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Groot Letaba river and wake up to bird calls from our resident Green Turaco. The diverse local fauna attracts significant bird life - making the panoramic view perfect for bird watching.

Rondebossie: Restful Farm Family Retreat

Beautiful farm experience with breathtaking sunsets. The space is comfortable, well equipped and newly renovated, it consists of a large lounge area, dining room and kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of these share a full bathroom with a shower and 1 of these has its own en suite bathroom with a luxurious bath. There is a patio overlooking indigenous bush, waterfall and a lake. A great feature of the property is its location, centrally situated near the main road and numerous wedding venues.

Lekkerbos 7-sleeper all-wheel-drive access only

Lekkerbos is an ideal destination to get away from the rush. The tranquil cottage in the mountains near Haenertsburg is the perfect get-away setting to take a break and bond. Lekkerbos is only accessible by 4x4, all-wheel-drive or vehicle with a diff-lock. The cottage's large living area with open plan kitchen and 180-degree view over the mountains makes it ideal for spending quality time. Lekkerbos is close to outdoor activities, galleries, breweries and beautiful sceneries to get recharged.

The Watermill Cabin

Nestled among ancient pines, the 50-year-old cabin stands on the banks of the Broederstroom River, overlooking a magical waterfall. A 2km gravel road drive from Haenertsburg. ( Accessible to most cars, not sports cars) will bring you to the charming cabin. A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs. Olivia's Secret is a very special place. It is designed specifically for the romantic at heart who need to escape city life and chill out in a cosy environment with breathtaking views and all conveniences. The cottage sleeps two, with a well equipped kitchen, braai area, wood fired fireplace and private pool. There is a gravel road, 2.5km, which gets quite bumpy, especially in the rainy season, so a high ground clearance vehicle is highly recommended.

The lodge nestles in an evergreen forest. It gives a feeling of anticipation for fairies and other woodland creatures to welcome you. The forest gives complete privacy. It's a place where visitors can feel at one with nature. Bird parties visit and samango monkeys forage in the trees. The Log Cottage sleeps four guests. There are short walks along the mountain stream and you can see picturesque waterfalls
