Our home is a 1970s architectural gem located in the convenient upstate NY town of Staatsburg. It has been thoughtfully modernized and designed to encourage maximum serenity and enjoyment of both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The floating staircase, huge picture windows, expansive deck and wooded outdoor space make this home perfect for an upstate getaway - while still being close to some of the major area attractions and towns. Our historic street also features 1700s homes and a farm/brewery.

This New House

Unique custom built new home constructed purposefully for Airbnb quests. This house offers a distinctive design with a large loft bedroom and a fully tiled bathroom. The loft overlooks the downstairs living area which has an open living room, dinning area, and kitchen. The second bedroom and bath are located on the first floor. Granite, slate, and soapstone accentuate the countertops, vanities, and floors. You will also see plenty of natural pine, hickory, and local cedar throughout the house.

Watch the sunset from the patio or just enjoy the evening sitting on the enclosed front porch. With in walking distance to state parks and centrally located between Rhinebeck NY and Hyde Park NY. They are a short 10 minute drive away. Rhinebeck offers multiple shops, restaurants and historic sites. Hyde Park is home to the Culinary Institute and it’s many restaurants as well as FDR estate. You are within walking distance to our local library, park, River & Post restaurant and pickleball court.

A 3 min walk to Shaupeneak Ridge park and a 2 min drive Black Creek preserve. Esopus offers a cornucopia for nature lovers. Some of the most stunning vistas, stretching to the Hudson River. Centrally located it's a short ride to restaurants, events, galleries, wineries, orchards, shopping and more.

Sunny and Spacious Studio - a serene getaway

Modern Light Filled Garage Conversion with a small kitchen, full bath with an open deck off the back. A beautiful quiet spot with birds, tall trees and a small creek on 3 acres. The bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed with a small ladder to a little sleeping loft for the kids. There is also a pull out couch in the open kitchen living room area with a deck off the back. This is a small apartment attached to our house that has been designed with care and privacy in mind.

Swan Cottage with Expansive Hudson River Views

The Swan Cottage was built in 1923 and was fully renovated in 2020. The idyllic location, on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River, is the perfect perch to relax and get away from it all. The front porch is a nice spot to have a cup of coffee and watch the sailboats on the river, while the huge wraparound porch affords terrific views of the river as well as the forest that gives this home a feeling of being high in the tree tops.
