Beautiful Breeze Cottage

Beautiful Breeze Cottage sits among the stunning hills of the Dargle Valley. It overlooks 3 tranquil dams, rolling pastures and an indigenous forest. There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Pennygrove Cottage, 4 Sleeper Midlands getaway

Quaint 4 sleeper cottage with an exquisite dam view... the perfect place to unwind and relax. The smallest of three units on the property, it is perfect for couples, or a small family looking for a beautiful Midlands break away. (The other units are a 6 Sleeper Farmhouse - please see 'Pennygrove Farmhouse' and a 6 Sleeper shed conversion - see 'Nguni Cottage') Lovely walks and Bass fishing to keep you busy during the day, and a fire pit for those cold Midlands nights. Berg Haus

Unbeatable sunset views over trout dams and the Umzimkulu River make this stylish Drakensberg home your best family holiday choice. Each of the main bedrooms is en-suite with 3 king-size beds all in crisp white 100% cotton. Kids are accommodated in the separate bunk room with its own separate full bathroom. The upstairs family room has 1 additional single beds. The open plan living area flows out onto a verandah and estate lawns overlooking the trout dams, river and dairy farm.

If you’re needing a break from the hustle and bustle look no further than the tranquility found at Figtree Cottage! The cottage offers a large bedroom with a walk in shower en-suite. There is a small deck area off the bedroom and the living room which has an outdoor jacuzzi. Enjoy a warm jacuzzi under the stars.

Tented luxury comes to the Karkloof in our brand new river frontage unit — inspired by the classic safari tent, but with every comfort and elegant finish you could dream of. This is glamping at its absolute finest! It is best to have a high clearance vehicle to get there. This modern self-catering unit is nestled on a working farm in the Yarrow Valley, Karkloof, and is home to picturesque mountain views, kilometers of trails, the Karkloof falls and the Midlands meander.

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.
