If you choose to stay in, we have 9 acres of beautiful unspoiled land to explore. Spend evenings in our barn Billiard Room with TV’s and Poker/Game Table.

Welcome to Hovey Metal and ‘wild and scenic’ northeast Tennessee! We are excited to share this beautiful, active area within minutes of the Appalachian Trail, Nolichucky River and Cherokee Natl Forest! The house with all amenities is nestled in Bailey Hollow close to Rte 26 between Asheville NC and Johnson City TN. Outdoor activities including hiking, rafting. Festivals, charming downtown Erwin, 30 minutes to historic Jonesborough with the Intl Storytelling Center and Bristol Motor Speedway.

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Spivey Falls Cabin, A Cabin by a Waterfall

A secluded cabin with access to a large private waterfall in the Mountains of Tennessee. Nestled on a cliff and overlooking the beautiful natural setting offers precipitous trails to a swimming area beneath a waterfall. The family home overlooks a 75 foot cascading waterfall. Garden trails follow along the creek and incline. The interior of the cabin exhibits a variety of old world charm and nostalgia from the local community. We hope you come away with peace and tranquility of God's nature.

Chestnut Ridge Retreat

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Relax by the fireplace or fire pit (roast some s’mores). Walk the property to see the chickens, horse, donkey and goats. At our farm we love diversity, support all love, and don’t think that hate makes America great - if you don’t agree we may not be the destination for you. We have added a small chair that converts to a bed- we can squeeze 3 in.

Welcome to the Lee Cabin located at Shootout Mountain. The Lee Cabin was built in 1876 and is the oldest structure on Shootout Mountain. The cabin has been fully remodeled and offers all the latest amenities for an enjoyable mountain experience. Hey Y'all!, we are offering a small shack (which was scheduled to be a portion our Boy Barn). It's 10x12 feet, furnished with a daybed with two twin mattresses. There is a retro DVD TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hot plate. Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.
