A travertine stone floor, cherry live edge and soap stone countertops make the custom built kitchen w/ island seating easy to sink into. The glass shower with view of the meadow and an entire 2nd floor master bedroom with tub for two support you to settle and relax into the northern door peninsula's bliss.

You are sure to fall in love with the cottage at this private and secluded (besides our other rentals) location on Lake Superior. Just a short 5 min drive to Calumet, and 10 from Houghton/Hancock.

If peace and quiet is what you’re looking for in a vacation spot you’ve come to the right place. Hideaway Tiny Cabin is 320 square feet of secluded lodging on our homestead of 8 acres. You’ll be surrounded by wildflowers and the sounds of nature while amenities are only a 5 minute car ride away. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning while enjoying the screened in porch attached to the cabin. There’s a fire pit right out front with firewood available on premise. Relax and destress.

Empire Sleeping Cabin @ Superior Orchards

Empire Sleeping Cabin in Grand Marais, MI provides a cozy, restful & rustic experience for the glamper that enjoys a dry, warm and comfortable experience while surrounded by nature. Cabin has wall heater & a king size pillow top bed. "THE HEATED FULL BATHROOM & HALF BATH IS NOT IN THE CABIN" but is located just steps away from the cabin in the large pole barn, and is stocked with hand towels and toiletries to make your "GLAMPING" experience one to remember. Bath towels are provided.

Relax in the serenity of Paradise View’s incomparable perspective of Whitefish Bay every morning when you awake. You will enjoy sun and moon rises from your living room, watch the birds, the freighters and the ever-changing moods on the bay. If you love hiking or snow shoeing, bird watching, cross country skiing or photography – this is the place for you. When winter arrives, we get lots of snow! Located just 14 miles from Tahquamenon State Park & 1-1/2 miles from Paradise.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

The River House

The River House is a two bedroom cottage on the Chocolay River in Marquette, Michigan. It is adjacent to a bike path and walkway that runs through Marquette County, along the shore of Lake Superior. This cozy cottage has a deck and sun room with a view of the river, and is close to beaches, marinas, and the beautiful city of Marquette. The River House is a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot accommodate snow mobiles on the property.

Nestled in the beautiful Jordan River Valley, this cozy cabin is a writer's dream. Located seven miles from Mancelona, this woodsy retreat provides easy access to hiking, fishing, canoeing, and skiing. Shorts Brewery, and their famous craft beer, is a fifteen minute drive to downtown Bellaire. Traverse City and Petoskey are just forty-five minutes away. Wander the gardens that are part of the small turn-of-the-century farm, or just enjoy the quiet of the north woods.

Newer one room cabin on quiet, sparsely populated, 23 acre lake is your base for a long list of adventurous possibilities in the great north woods! Stay here & relax or enjoy the Nicolet Nat'l Forest, Spread Eagle Chain of Lakes or ski nearby! Plenty of hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, opportunities in surrounding area. Trail 45, 8 and 452 are just a short distance away for your off-road and snowmobiling adventures.
