The Stone House in Aspro (North Side)

The Northern Stone House is a fully-equipped traditional cottage with a large outdoor yard, in the village of Aspro, Chania. It was built in the late 1800s and renovated in 2020 by myself and my father. Our goal was to create a space that is simple, serene and evocative of older times, yet is completely functional in the modern sense. It's located 2km away from the area's main village Almyrida, where you can find some basic stores, restaurants, as well as a couple of beautiful beaches.

Το σπίτι του προπαππού Νικόλα και των 8 παιδιών του αφέθηκε στη φθορά του χρόνου για δεκαετίες, μέχρι που πρόσφατα αναπαλαιώθηκε με πολλή αγάπη και σεβασμό στην ντόπια αρχιτεκτονική παράδοση. "Σπίτι ώστε να χωρείς και χωράφι όσο μπορείς", έλεγαν τότε. Σήμερα, το φιλόξενο αυτό σπίτι ελκύει με την απλότητά του και χαρίζει ηρεμία στον επισκέπτη του. Κυριαρχεί η πέτρα, η ζεστασιά του ξύλου, ένας συνδυασμός ιδανικος!Απόγονοι της οικογένειας διέσωσαν τους 33 μεταλλωρύχους στη Χιλή το 2010!

Chic Country Cottage For Two....

Asteri cottage is an open plan, bijou and beautifully designed one bedroom cottage. Perfect for couples and honeymooners. The boutique style interior opens up to large terraces for dining and relaxation. The ensuite shower room leads out from the calming bedroom to the private plunge pool, which is 2m by 4m in size. The pool can be heated with prior request. The cottage nestles between mature olive trees in an acre of beautiful Cretan countryside and is secluded from the main house.

Very close to famous beaches of Georgioupoli (10km), Kalyves (5km), and Almyrida (7km). Plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy nature and life outdoors, great for hiking and walks. Village of Vamos within walking distance (10-15 min by foot) where you will find all the shops and restaurants, as well as a health center.

The sandy beaches of Almirida, Kalyves and Georgioupolis are within a distance of 8 km, 6 km and 12 km respectively.
