Ocean is steps away to paddle board/kayak/ canoe/swim or walk along the public bedrock shoreline. Close to hiking & biking trails, such as Galloping Goose Trail & Sooke Potholes. Plus, nearby fishing & whale watching charters. Or, just relax. Note: House being built on lot beside Airbnb; Sept 27/25. Foundation is done.

Harbour House

Fun and funky artists cottage with oceanfront, and panoramic views of Ladysmith Harbour and Woodley Range Ecological Reserve. Watch otters, seals and blue Herons as you sip your morning coffee on the covered deck. Use the 2 sit on top Kayaks and paddle board, included with your stay, to explore the harbour and the small islands across from the house. We live here and our home is compliant with the laws and bylaws for our area. There is a full kitchen and open, spacious dining and living areas.

Have fun, but no parties, and please choose another spot if you are unwilling to be considerate of our wonderful neighbors.

Watch birds and marine wildlife during your morning coffee on your private outdoor deck. Relax pierside or beachcomb for treasures on the small rock beach. After a day of adventure, bask in your soaker tub, then watch the moon rise over the sea before enjoying a quiet peaceful night's sleep in your plush king bed.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Bench 170

Welcome to Bench 170. You will enjoy the very private entire upper floor and use of the yard as guest space. This house is a West Coast Modern built in 2012. A delight for architect enthusiasts and art lovers alike as it was a venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. There is a public beach access directly adjacent to the property that takes you down to a cobble stone beach looking west to the Georgia Strait. Please refer to Policy and Rules for pets.
