Mere minutes from Hermanus, the cottage is located within walking distance from the beach and various tidal pools in the area. With its stunning views and just the sounds of nature, Whale Huys seems far removed from the busy hustle and bustle of our daily lives. but is close to the wineries and renowned country restaurants the area is famous for. Outdoor and cultural activities abound. Just 5 min. from Gansbaai for shopping.

Mountain & Sea Cottage

A neat comfortable flat in a peaceful neighbourhood, a 500m walk away from the Onrus to Sandbaai coastal path. Great locations for swimming, surfing, diving or just catching some sun rays. If you like mountain biking or hiking the mountains are also just around the corner. The stoep features a wood fired hot tub and fire pit and looks towards the mountains and a stand of bluegums which attracts a lot of bird life. The flat is on our property but is completely separate with secure parking.

Charming house with seperate one bedroom flat that feels like holiday. Beautiful mountain views and walking distance from lagoon and swimming beach. Close to excellent restaurants and shops. Hermanus is just a few kilometres away. Due to the nature of the town we very strictly do not allow any parties or loud music, as set out in the house rules. Unfortunately no group bookings for under 25’s. Inverter and battery powered during load shedding-ensuring continious power to the property.

Cosy and light two bedroom cottage on the premises of one of the original old houses in Onrus, surrounded by local cafe's and restaurants. Conveniently situated with a 2 minute walk to the lagoon and 10 minute walk to the main beach. The kitchen and lounge are open planned with a fireplace and an outdoor braai on the covered veranda. This lovely welcoming space is suitable for 2 couples, single travelers or a small family.
