Castaway Cares

Nestled on a quiet hilltop you will enjoy 360° privacy in this rustic cabin that's spacious and unique! On the main floor you will find the fully equipped kitchen, living room with DVD player and retro game system, dining space, full bathroom & 2 bedrooms each with a queen & twin size bed. Downstairs you will find another living room, master bedroom with en suite bath, and second bedroom with a twin size bed. It can be the perfect space for families, friends groups, hunters and more!

The Cottage

This is a rural location. Located on an open hill along a private drive, this newly built -"little house on the prairie"- is surrounded by fields on one end and woods on the other. The moon and lotsa stars at night -no neighbors nearby. Trails and ponds are available for your enjoyment. Swimming* and fishing is encouraged in the warmer months. A small outdoor fire ring is nearby. Hiking in the woods on the far side of the field will be off limits last week of October through thanksgiving.

Cabin Retreat at Whitetail Run

Tranquil cabin, on private 17 acres with pond 90 minutes from central Ohio. A SQM Quality Score of 21.64 makes it one of the Top 3 locations for star gazing in Ohio. Our Amish built cabin overlooks a private stocked pond on 17 acres of rolling hills. Explore trails through mature woods and wildflower meadows. Enjoy scenic views from the spacious deck, patio, or in the hot tub. Whether you are up for a quiet get away or an adventure this cabin and surrounding area has much to offer.

The Raven

Welcome to The Raven, a 550 square foot cozy 1-bedroom wooded retreat near Athens, Ohio. Enjoy a queen bed, walk-in closet, full bath, washer/dryer, and a full kitchen with bar seating. Relax in the living room with a pull-out sofa, TV, Wi-Fi, games, and more. Dine outside on the patio bistro set. Just off the highway, close to shops, eateries, wineries, and a speakeasy. 20 mins to Athens and Ohio University, 30 to Pomeroy, 40 to Hocking Hills—your peaceful escape awaits!

Vinton Furnace State Forest, Lake Rupert, Lake Alma, Hocking Hills, Zaleski State Forest, Lake Hope, & historic Moonville Tunnel all within a 30-minute drive or less.

Mountain Top Cabin

A fully renovated cabin in the woods. Just 5.5 miles from the Zaleski State Forest and many other local attractions. After going out for a hike on local trails, checking out the historic, reputedly haunted brick tunnel known as Moonville Tunnel and more. You can come back to Mountain Top Cabin and enjoy a relaxing stay, enjoy mother nature with a beautiful view off the back deck, while catching some sun or just unwind in the hot tub. 6 guests max. Pet friendly.

Game room area with eating table and gas fireplace to sit and enjoy. 2 large porches, Front porch has a large porch swing to enjoy the village of Hamden, back porch has a comfy couch swing to enjoy the sunsets.

More Than Just A Hunting Cabin, HOT TUB

Enjoy this beautiful secluded cabin with limitless possibilities. Located 6 miles from Zaleski State Forest, 8 miles from Lake Hope, and 25 minutes from the heart of Hocking Hills, Wayne National Forest. We have also recently added a beautiful hot tub. You are sure to enjoy the time spent on this property! Dogs are welcome with a $50 per pet fee. Hot tub will be closed from mid December-March

Sweet Peace Forest is a secluded nature retreat located in Southeast Ohio. It is 30 minutes from Athens and 20 minutes from Pomeroy. It exudes warmth and nature from the 30 acre forest where it sits, to the ponds, to the carefully crafted and recently remodeled home. No matter which way you look, there's something pleasing to the eye and soothing to the soul.
