The Starlite

We are delighted to introduce The Starlite, our very first geodesic luxury dome, nestled within Ruakh in Tazewell County, Virginia. This serene haven is part of a budding eco-luxury resort, thoughtfully established on an 87-acre plot of what was once a humble farm. The Starlite offers a cozy 500 sq ft space, gently perched at the forest's edge. Full-Moon Dome at Our Farm

​The Full-Moon Dome is over 700 sqft (30 ft across) with an 18ft tall ceiling.  The dome is equipped w/ a storm door., has a canvas cover with windows and screens -features a large bay window that allows views of Little North Mountain and of the farm.  Solar exhaust fan, vinyl floors, queen bed with linens, futon couch, dining area, bathroom (showerless, composite toilet.) There is no ac & no heat. Additional guests welcome at $10/person. There is no electricity or running water & no WIFI.

Half-Moon Dome at Our Farm

​The Dome is over 200 sqft (16 ft across) with an 8ft tall ceiling at the middle.  The Dome is equipped with a zipper door and has a canvas cover with windows and screens and features a large bay window that allows views of Little North Mountain and a full view of the farm.  There is a solar exhaust fan and wooden floors as well as a queen bed with linens and some causal seating. There is no electricity or running water and no WIFI. We do provide solar-powered and battery-powered lights.

Deerfield Dwellings - Bucky the Geodesic Dome

Sleep under the stars and roam through the fields on 25-acre Deerfield Farms. “Bucky” is an open and bright 16-foot Geodesic dome that has a queen bed, four skylights, a picture window overlooking rolling pastures, an indoor sitting area, a coffee station w/ mini fridge, and air conditioning! Outdoor table and chairs. Very clean port-o-let less than 50 feet away, with sink. Shower house close by, with hot/cold water, towels, and toiletries.
