The Pearl of Whakatiwai

The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A completely restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed and see the views that go on forever. A great little kitchen with new oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need if you want a "foodie" get away. We do not have a TV, but great WiFi. Great fishing right on your doorstep.

Enjoy all amenities with full kitchen, coffee machine, washing machine and bathroom. Space for extra guests with the clever use of a pull down bed in the living area. Breakfast supplies provided, with eggs from the free ranging chickens on the property. An easy 5 min drive in to explore Cambridge, and all the area offers.

Unwind and enjoy being close to town, surf, and everything Whāingaroa-Raglan has on offer. Watch the sunset from the deck, cozy up in front of the fire, or grab a flat white from the cafe around the corner. WINTER UPDATE: we’ve stocked up on firewood, the firebox is ready for chilly nights. The perfect surfer’s retreat on the west side of the one-way bridge, just a quick drive to Manu Bay. A great spot for kids! And pets are welcome!
