Laughing Horse Lodge - Animal friendly in Waipu

Positioned high in the hills above Waipu Cove, we offer a tranquil and modern animal-friendly base in historic Waipu, close to the beaches and town. The perfect spot to explore sunny Northland. Equestrians, you can arrange to bring your horse, ride in our arena or on nearby stunning Uretiti beach. If you'd like to bring your friendly dog, we can accommodate your furry friends. Our location is very quiet: no traffic noise, just the occasional sound of surf and birds. Not just for horse lovers.

Escape to your very own waterfront holiday with the extended family or group of friends. With two houses positioned on the one large section you can enjoy holidaying together yet have your space when needed. You'll have your own large grass area to kick back relax, play games with water access to paddle, swim and explore. At low tide you can walk across to the surf beach! With magic views at both houses you'll love an early morning coffee watching the sunrise or a cold one seeing the day out.

Kapia Lodge - Luxury waterfront

Kapia Lodge is perched on the edge of the cliffs at Pouto, offering breathtaking views of Kaipara Harbour. Secluded and private, it's the perfect retreat for a romantic getaway. Unwind, relax, and immerse yourself in the peaceful serenity of Kaipara. Curl up with a book, enjoy a board game, or lounge on the deck, soaking up the sun and stunning surroundings.
