Spacious, comfortable and modern 1 bedroom unit with ensuite. A 2nd DETACHED room as an additional bedroom is available (see photo, fees apply) The cottage is equipped with microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle and basic utensils to prepare a simple meal. Private, delightful garden & decks facing the sun. Outdoor seating provided. Your well behaved, house trained dog is welcome to stay. Possum Cottage is a three-bedroom classic quirky kiwi cottage, situated on our farm under the foothills of the Southern Alps in South Canterbury. It is simple and rustic, but comfortable. The small rural town Fairlie is only 8-10 minutes away from our place and has great shopping, restaurants and of course the famous Fairlie Bakehouse. Lake Opuha is a great local hotspot in summer for boating and water activities, while Mt Dobson or Roundhill are great ski fields to visit in winter
