Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

The space is a recently renovated basement studio with a private entrance. There is a parking place for you and a lighted path to the left that leads down to the studio. The studio has a queen bed, a bathroom with tub and shower and a dressing room area that some use for an office. The kitchen has most anything you will need. We live upstairs, so you will hear footsteps and kitchen activity. The yard is huge and fenced- in, perfect for pets. The walk to Lane Stadium is only 15 minutes!

Our spacious country house, located directly on Sinking Creek, is the perfect getaway space for nature lovers or anybody who just wants to relax to the soothing water as it flows by. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, guests are only one mile from the Appalachian Trail, and some the most beautiful hiking in the state, including Cascades Falls, are only a short drive away. Additionally, the New River, with its kayaking, canoeing, boating and tubing, is only 20 minutes away.

We love sharing our farmstead with guests and also understand if guests prefer tranquil time to themselves. This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Built for $500.00 dollars "back-in-the-day," the Earlehurst Cottage was inhabited by The Carters, a humble, cute old country couple. Here, they raised two daughters. Today, the house is tastefully appointed where expected - & comfortable to modern standards - yet, it has been left as charming, rustic & cozy as it had always been: with elements of the original decor, windows, plaster walls, etc., being preserved. Pets stay for free!

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.
