Tranquil A-Frame on the Colorado River

Welcome to Moose Mansion, our peaceful A-Frame escape sitting just off the North Fork of the Colorado River. We're just minutes from the historic downtown Grand Lake, the East entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, hunting, fishing, world-class snowmobiling, sailing, SO MANY MOOSE, and much more. We renovated the cabin to bring all the comforts of home to our "home away from home" in the mountains. Our family has made many memories here, and we're hopeful you'll be able to do the same.

Brand New Cabin at Rocky Mountain National Park

Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

Ten miles from downtown Estes, but in an entirely different world. 7 min drive to Longs Peak Trailhead 500 yards to the National Park boundary

Peaceful Mountain Retreat This beautiful, newly remodeled, Cabin is located on Wood Pecker Hill in the Historic Town of Grand Lake with walking distance to the sandy beach, the boardwalk and the classic hiking trails of Rocky Mountain National Park. It is a stand alone, family owned cabin built in 1903, in the most quiet part of town. Please note! Evergreen Cabin-2 BD, Log Cabin Retreat-Clark, CO

An authentic, rustic, ga s fireplace heated, log cabin with modern amenities. The cabin has a furnished kitchen/dining area, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a nice covered deck with outdoor seating and plenty of sunlight. The cabin backs up to Zirkel National Forest and the Elk River flows right across the road. The Evergreen Cabin is a perfect setting for a quiet getaway. There is Wi-Fi in the cabin and a small tv that you can stream from or watch dvds.

Adjacent to Routt National Forest and the Zirkel Wilderness. Nestled in the aspen and pines with private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4wd or AWD preferred travel in winter. The Marmots, will often make an appearance. Wildlife abounds, moose, deer, elk pronghorn, bear, wolf and fox as well as many species of bird call this special place home. The spacious deck overlooks the forest and the mountains as well as the warm water ponds.
