Located on Big McKenzie this beautiful log cabin offers a gentle grade to the lake, fantastic fishing, and a private beach. The perfect place to create memories with your family and friends! The Knotty Pine Loft is the upper level (700 sf) of our garage/guest building. Up a flight of stairs you'll find a pine paneled kitchen & living room, private bedroom, and 3/4 bath. Loft windows overlook the pine-oak woods, a tamarack marsh, and 300 yds away is Spooner Lake . Note: The Knotty Pine Loft was named the Lakeview Loft, but after a windstorm downed a number of big trees, new birch and red oak treeshave grown up and lessened the view of the lake. The view returns in the winter!

Welcome to Hunt Hill Nature Center! We are a public, non-profit learning center and nature sanctuary. Our historic Log Cabin is nearly a century old and offers a peaceful retreat in the woods. All the furniture was updated in 2018. The Log Cabin is located just outside of the main camp, settled on top of a hill overlooking pristine forest habitat. Nearby towns offer additional entertainment or relax in our quiet setting while reading a good book in front of the stone fireplace.
