Half a block away is Eastern Market, an historic indoor food market open 6 days a week. On the weekends it expands with outdoor farm stands and vendors selling crafts and other goods. This light, airy one-bedroom English basement apartment has its own private entrance. Cable TV, WiFi, washer/dryer and a full kitchen make it easy to make yourself at home. The bedroom features a queen size bed (and the living room is equipped with a pull-out sofa that converts to a standard size bed). We never charge a cleaning fee! The apartment is located below the main house. It is 500 square feet with a ceiling height of 6’ 9”.

The apartment is surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and shops all within a 5 minute walk. This studio apartment has a ground level walkout entrance and access to a shared roof deck, full private kitchen, laundry, queen bed and fold out couch, private entry/bathroom. A bifold door opens out to the back garden.

Top floor apartment in a traditional 130+ y/o townhouse conversion. There are 2 full flights of stairs to enter the unit--we only recommend this space for those with healthy knees that do not travel with large suitcases. The altitude of the home means extra light, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and beautiful Capitol views several months of the year!
