Nestled at the foot of Whitehorse mountain in the midst of the North Cascades, a Shepherd’s Retreat is a working sheep farm. The farm is one of the few historic homestead farms in Snohomish County. The Snowline Castle was built using elements found in Medieval castle turrets and was meant to resemble a tree stump nestled in the forest.

The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge.
