Hi! We're Robyn and Chen, a young, newly-wed couple full of life and energy. This listing with a private entrance helps us pay for our first home! Just four quiet blocks to the Washougal River and over 16 miles of gorgeous PNW trails. We both work from home so we have the best fiber internet available. We're pretty quiet except when we are in the attached stained glass studio or laughing together. We welcome everyone, LGBTQ, traveling nurses, or anyone who wants to explore the Portland area.

The Story House

Between the lights of Portland and the slopes of Mt. Hood stands a whimsical woods of giant firs, feathery cedars and old mossy maples. Midst a maze of paths and ferns is a cozy cabin full of delightful art. Browse the uncommon birdhouses and their stories. Just steps outside the French doors is a lighted path to the bathhouse (the only bathroom) with toilet, shower, clawfoot tub and washer/dryer. Walk the paths, soak in the hot tub and end your day in the peace and quiet of a private cabin.

If nature is what you are needing, explore the miles of hiking and walking trails at Lacamas Lake that start right outside the front door. The summer months offer water activities for kayaks and paddleboards. 12 miles to PDX.

Welcome to our Clackamas Riverfront Guest House—a peaceful riverside retreat blending rustic charm and modern comfort. Nothing but peacefulness at our Hidden Gem Acres yet only 10 minutes from stores, breweries, and restaurants. Many outdoor activities in the Gorge area & X-Cross. All neighbors border us by 5 acres. Enjoy the local deer, bunnies & birds. We have an equine facility with 2 of our own horses & boarders. Our friendly Australian Cattle Dog 'Buddy' will on occasion greet you. As this is our home & private sanctuary if you are expecting visitors please ask us for approval.
