Our farmhouse is licensed by Dane County & a short 20 minute drive to Madison! You will want a car so you can explore, the UW Campus, Allient Energy Center, WI State Capitol, Madison Farmers Market and much more. Relax, unwind, grill, play horse shoes or sit by the fire pit. Enjoy your privacy but know there is a farm manager close by and I am happy to help

Welcome to our home! We have upgraded our Garden (lower) Level to host travelers much like ourselves and long-term guests. The view of our backyard is incredible! You will find yourself lost in the country, yet less than ten minutes from all the excitement that Madison has to offer. Along with a private drive and entrance, you will have 1,000 square feet of comfort all to yourselves. This property is perfect for a quiet getaway we all need from time to time. All designed with you in mind.

Rock River Retreat

Bring your family to make memories enjoying a movie while sitting by the fireplace. Enjoy fishing during the day and a beautiful Rock River View. During winter you are right near the Jefferson County Snowmobile trails: and during the spring these trails are used for ATVs. There are several bike trails in town as well. If you are looking for things to do try the Octagon House or the local antique stores, outlet malls When you are ready to dine, Wisconsin is known for it's many supper clubs.

It is a 3 minute walk to crystal clear Rock Lake and Sandy Beach. Pickle Ball, playground, bowling alley, and ice cream shop are practically in the front yard. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the spacious backyard overlooking the Glacial Drumlin Bike/Walking Trail.

After, enjoying your morning coffee, take a stroll on the grounds and enjoy the sweeping views of the pastoral landscape. Then head into Wisconsin’s state capital (23 minutes by car) for an exciting day of sightseeing. Or visit the quaint town of Cambridge (8 minutes by car) to explore its unique pottery and antique shops.

A private locked entrance opens up to a sunny space with great views of a wetland beyond the backyard. Private patio to enjoy morning coffee and the sunrise. A great place to unwind and enjoy nature's beauty! We have binoculars if you love bird watching, and bikes to ride or hike the Glacial Drumlin Trail just 0.1 mile from the front door.
