The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Quiet Family Suite on River near Lakes and Trails

This family-size, fully-enclosed suite with a separate entrance from the host's attached house offers all the comforts of home within 15 min. of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and premier outdoor experiences- hiking, biking, fishing, boating. Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. The entire suite space is yours.

3 bed/2 bath Lake House on Iron Lake - No Pet Fee.

Fisherman & outdoor enthusiasts dream place. 5 acres on Iron Lake for your family, friends, and dogs to enjoy. Ski Brule, snowmobiling, wildlife, hiking, and so many more things to enjoy. Very private. This lake is great for kayaking, canoeing,and fishing. You can swim off the dock,but there are some lily pads. The water is clear,but the bottom of the lake is mucky at shore. Great for dogs. Kayaks, canoe, & paddle boat available at your own risk. In winter, best to have AWD vehicle.

Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. Autumn is the time to take fall color tours, ATV, & hunt. Slow internet - high speed coming

Take in the views from your back deck, relax around the bonfire, enjoy walk to Lake Superior, hike or snowshoes the North Country Trail to waterfalls or take a day trip to the Porkies. Retreat B on Little Spider Lake (Towering Pines)

Our property offers a Peaceful Getaway in a Resort Setting on a Quiet Lake. "Great Location", "Amazing Views", "Clean", "Cozy", "Perfect", "Peaceful", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" are what we repeatedly hear from our guests after their stay. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Relax with friends and family at this peaceful cozy cabin. A perfect 4 seasons cabin on a the ravine river. Enjoy steelhead trout fishing, walking in the woods, winter sports ect. Near Lake Superior. Finn’s bar and grill, and huron bay trading post for groceries and gas. We are a fully furnished cabin with a queen sized bed, full size bed and a twin, with a large sofa and a sofa sleeper full size. A Lazyboy and a dining room table that seats 6

Jimmy’s Lakeview Vacation Cabin

Jimmys Lakeview Vacation Rental cabin is located across from Duck Lake (part of the Eagle River Chain of Lakes) and offers a great place to stay for your Eagle River vacation. Cabin is only 2 miles from downtown Eagle River and within walking distance to Sweetwater Bar and Grill and Kickback Grill. There are two public boat landings and Eagle Lake Park within 1.5 miles and is also located on the snowmobile and atv/ utv trail.

A short drive to the Porcupine Mountains and directly off the ATV/snowmobile trail that runs through Marenisco.

Enjoy the Northwoods from this centrally located vantage point. On the Pioneer Creek, you are just moments away from hunting, fishing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, canoeing, ATV/UTV trails, bike trails, or just plain relaxing. This carriage-house apartment can sleep up to five in a bedroom, full size hide-a-bed in living room, and loft area. Canoe is available for use.

Enjoy memorable mountain views at this lovable 3 bedroom cabin, located just a 5-minute walk from the Ski Brule lifts. Fire up the gas grill and host a cookout on the scenic back deck. Spend your nights making s’mores at the campfire pit, then cozy up inside by the wood burning stove inside while watching your favorite streaming services.
