This cozy cottage is on a quiet hillside, 2 miles N. of downtown. Enjoy the privacy of your own space: bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, entrance, deck & parking. Walk to hiking trails, downtown, gardens, UNCA, bars, restaurants & a breathtaking sunset/mountain views. Our whole house water filter system provides glorious chlorine free water for drinking & showering. It's quiet here. A great place to relax. Enjoy a private deck for dining, star gazing or just enjoying the stellar view.

Our single-story ranch-style home (no stairs once inside, besides down basement) has been completely renovated for you to enjoy the local area, and relax in comfort. The home is a perfect base to explore & work in AVL, but still have the comforts of home. We ware central to the Biltmore Estates, the Blue Ridge Mountains, local breweries and eateries, as well as outdoor activities. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with lush landscape, in Weaverville, just 7 miles from downtown AVL.

Couples and their pets love the cottage! Privately situated on 2 acres, conveniently located 10 - 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, 5 minutes to Weaverville. Cozy, charming, unique, the cottage provides a fully equipped kitchen, mosaic tile bath with walk-in shower, and clever use of recycled materials. Fenced pet approved yard ($50 one time fee covers 2 pet max), with outdoor dining, BBQ grill and fire pit. A relaxing oasis after hiking and exploring the beauty and charm of Western NC.

Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

Our neighborhood is quiet, yet accessible— right on the Blue Ridge Parkway and less than 10 minutes to downtown for dining, drinks, and shopping. In the room you’ll find a hand painted mural, queen bed, full bath, kitchen + stocked coffee bar. Perfect for solo travelers looking for a safe place to land or couples who need a place to rest after a full day. Look out for 🐻 sightings in our yard!

The cottage boasts a rare combination of natural mountain setting with walking access to downtown Weaverville and a short drive to Asheville. Take a dip in the private hot tub, or a short walk through the Main Street Nature Park which leads you award winning art studios, shops and restaurants.
