The private fully fenced courtyard is yours to use; ideal to sit and unwind with a wine after a hard day! Enjoy your independent, cheap and cheerful stay!

Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

Private studio in Island Bay

Self contained small private studio for singles or couples. Views overlooking Island Bay valley. Five minute walk downhill to the shops, cafes and a cinema nearby. A regular bus service to city and a 10 minute drive to the airport. Comfortable double bed, sink bench, microwave, bench oven, fridge, Nespresso machine, smart TV with Netflix and free WiFi. Outside areas to sit and relax. On street parking. This space is ideal for guests who prefer well-planned compact living. Hosts live upstairs.

Central Wellington, amazing views!

A warm and cosy one bedroom apartment with beautiful views over Wellington city and the harbour. Easy access to the central city, cable car, Botanic Gardens and Zealandia on foot or by public transport. Kelburn Village is a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Kelburn village has a handy selection of shops and great cafes. Access to the apartment is via an uphill pathway which includes 40 steps. Parking is available on the street (free overnight and on weekends, NZD12 per day on weekdays).

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

This modern, architect-designed 42m² home sits on the city fringe, in a sunny, private garden setting. Enter and feel instantly at home in your own hideaway. Note: you’ll need to climb 3 flights of stairs; the house is behind another property. See photos for distance reference. Rooms aren’t soundproof perforations connect bedrooms to the living area for heat, light, and air. High perforated screens give some separation. This is a very special place. A private studio with your own deck and outdoor bathtub in a stunning seaside setting. The hillside location means panoramic views from beautiful Ōwhiro Bay over Raukawa Moana (Cook Strait) to the majestic Kaikōura mountains of the South Island. You'll be in a marine reserve, yet only 12 mins to the city centre and airport, and 5 mins to the shops, cafes, bars & cinemas. It is nature at its wildest on the edge of the city.

Tui House

A perfect spot to stay for bush-walkers and mountain bikers or for sport or music fans in Wellington for a game or a concert. You’ll see tui and kereru and hear ruru at night. Otari Wilton Bush is over the road, Zealandia 2km away, and it’s a 10-min drive to Makara Peak. You've got a dedicated off road car park and you're 30 metres from a bus that runs at least every 30 minutes every day. You can cook, do laundry, and iron if you want to.
