There is a spacious living room with wood burner and large kitchen with aga cooker and dining. The bathroom features a double ended bath and shower. Glasgow City centre, Glasgow Airport and Loch Lomond are within 15-20 minute drive from the house which has private, secure parking.

One-bed flat with a lovely park view

Our one bed flat is in the centre of the village of Balloch, Loch Lomond, known as the gateway to the north. Both the train station and bus station are only a few minutes walk away and nearby numerous walking, climbing and hiking trails. The cultural venues in the cities of Glasgow and Stirling are approximately 30-40 minutes by car. There is a free carpark across the road from the apartment. The apartment is on the second floor above the shops, cafes and bars in the centre of the village.

Situated in Loch Lomond National Park, Findlay Cottage is a perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy everything in this beautiful part of Scotland. We are situated on the John Muir way with plenty of walking and cycling routes. Findlay Cottage is the entirely separate annexe of our house with private entry, field and private parking. Cois Loch Lodge is a unique lodge situated in a peaceful setting with magnificent views over Loch Lomond and the hills beyond. Nestled at the end of a private road between Drymen and Balmaha, it has its own private parking and enclosed garden. French doors open out onto a fabulous decking area furnished with a table and garden sofas. A few steps down from the deck sits a tastefully furnished Scandinavian BBQ hut. No matter the weather, you can still enjoy a BBQ!

Our location is fantastic for mountain bike trails and hiking. You can access both directly from The Nest so no need to get in the car to explore! If you are looking to experience Loch Lomond we are under 10 minutes drive to the shore at Balmaha.

The Stable - Dumbain Farm

Accommodation is offered in the simple and stylish conversion of the farm outbuildings. Situated two minutes from Balloch in a quiet and peaceful location. A continental breakfast is left in the fridge for you to prepare including: muesli, bread, milk, orange juice, cheese, oatcakes, fruit, jam, shortbread, ground coffee and a selection of teas.
