This property was built by my great grandfather and it's now managed by the 4th generation of our family. Situated just 10 miles northwest from historic Oxford, and just a 20 minute walk from Blenheim Palace and a 10 minute drive to the pretty market town of Woodstock, this is the ideal place to stay and explore the Cotswolds and surrounding countryside. Own transport recommended.

Perfect for a romantic getaway or escape to the country for family or friends. Within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the "golden triangle" formed by Chipping Norton, Burford and Stowe-on-the-Wold, it's an ideal base for walking and for exploring the many attractions of the Cotswolds. The Chequers gastro pub is a short stroll away.

The Crofts Studio (Central Location)

The Crofts Studio is very "bijou"...a lovely small but perfectly formed annexe, with its own entrance and off street parking. We have a standard double bed, very comfortable for a solo traveller and cosy for a couple... Our place is complete with en-suite shower room (with washing machine and dryer) and a compact kitchenette area with breakfast bar and stools…. We are very central with close transport links and the A40 is on the doorstep to explore Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds

A great base for exploring the Cotswolds, Blenheim Palace, Oxford and the famous Bicester Village Designer Outlet a mere 35 mins drive or by bus from Oxford. The towns of Cheltenham, Banbury and Swindon all around a 40 mins drive.

Daylesford Organic a two minute drive or a 25 min. walk through beautiful Cotswold countryside, Soho Farmhouse and Diddly Squat Farm shop a short drive. There are a wealth of stunning Cotswold market towns on the doorstep.

The Dovecote Cotswold Cottages are in the picturesque village of Churchill, which is in relatively close proximity to many tourist destinations such as Blenheim Palace, Clarkson's Farm, Stow on the Wold and Broadway Tower alongside a selection of well established amenities including the famous The Chequers Churchill and Daylesford organics. Our maximum occupancy is 2 adults and a young child.
