Gorge Cottage, a newly refurbished traditional farmhouse dating back 150 years, offers stunning views overlooking a scenic gorge. A perfect stay for those who appreciate the beauty of the African bushveld as the farm's surrounds is abundant with indigenous fauna and flora. The farmhouse's traditional architecture sets a welcoming tone with a mix of vintage charm and modern conveniences whilst offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! Ancient Earth Homestead on Bluebird Game Estate

A magnificent homestead on a private game estate at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountain range. The spacious garden is full of healing herbs, vegetables, fruit and flowers for foraging and feasting. On request, we also offer a private Chef for special functions or full farm style, country kitchen catering and cleaning. Built-in fireplace and open-plan lounge. Fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Wi-Fi and TV monitor with media ports (no DSTV), DVD machine (DVD's at reception). Raised veranda overlooking a private garden, fully fenced and gated with built-in outdoor braai and bonfire areas. Hosts small to large-sized (social) dog breeds.

Alto Log Cabin

Set on a protea farm in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, Alto Cabin provides tranquil and relaxing accommodation for up to 4 people in a self catering log cabin. Guests have the option of either unwinding and enjoying the spectacular views from the cabin; visit the many fossil sights and museums in the area; embark on a 4x4 trail nearby or enjoy a horseback safari through the neighbouring reserve on one of our guided horse trails, suitable for the beginner or the more experienced rider.

Huna River House

The Huna River House is a two bedroom home next to the Magalies River. It has a private woodfire hot tub, large windows, balcony and big sliding doors that open out onto the countryside. The house was built using reclaimed materials, with beautiful wooden floors and industrial windows. The house is a quiet get-away with en-suite bedrooms, large baths and a wood-burning fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen and the covered verandah are well suited to providing dining experiences.

Red Earth on Kokopelli Farm

If you and your family need a quiet, peaceful breakaway then Red Earth farmhouse. We are just across the border in North West We are a child friendly venue. There is still small buck, baboons, porcupines, monkeys, rabbits and a variety of bird species on the farm. 3 bedrooms, main has king, 2nd has double, 3rd has 2 single beds. Note that the host's living space is attached to Red Earth. He has a separate entrance and does not infringe on your private space.
