Welcome to our farmhouse, a spacious inviting retreat perfect for families & those seeking a peaceful escape. Located just 15 min from Walkerville Centre & the Magic Garden Centre (petting zoo), our home offers a perfect blend of rural tranquility & modern convenience. Outside is a paradise for kids with a swing, slide & treehouse. For an authentic South African experience enjoy the braai and fire pit facilities. Almost entirely solar-powered, the home offers a convenient eco friendly stay.

Oriole Chalet

Medium-sized chalet, couple or 3 singles. Bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed or two singles. And 1 sleeper couch in lounge. Bathroom with bath & hand-held shower. Built-in fireplace and open-plan lounge. Fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Wi-Fi and TV monitor with media ports (no DSTV), DVD machine (DVD's at reception). Raised veranda overlooking a private garden, fully fenced and gated with built-in outdoor braai and bonfire areas. Hosts small to large-sized (social) dog breeds.

Gorge Cottage, a newly refurbished traditional farmhouse dating back 150 years, offers stunning views overlooking a scenic gorge. A perfect stay for those who appreciate the beauty of the African bushveld as the farm's surrounds is abundant with indigenous fauna and flora. The farmhouse's traditional architecture sets a welcoming tone with a mix of vintage charm and modern conveniences whilst offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The farmhouse is located on a 6km dirt road

The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! (2xAdults & 2xKids under 12)

Ancient Earth Homestead on Bluebird Game Estate

Alto Log Cabin

Set on a protea farm in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, Alto Cabin provides tranquil and relaxing accommodation for up to 4 people in a self catering log cabin. Guests have the option of either unwinding and enjoying the spectacular views from the cabin; visit the many fossil sights and museums in the area; embark on a 4x4 trail nearby or enjoy a horseback safari through the neighbouring reserve on one of our guided horse trails, suitable for the beginner or the more experienced rider.

Eco-friendly and fully off-grid -- no load-shedding! Less than 1 hour from Joburg and just 9 minutes from Magaliesburg. Alarm system with caretaker on site.

Huna River House

The Huna River House is a two bedroom home next to the Magalies River. It has a private woodfire hot tub, large windows, balcony and big sliding doors that open out onto the countryside. The house was built using reclaimed materials, with beautiful wooden floors and industrial windows. The house is a quiet get-away with en-suite bedrooms, large baths and a wood-burning fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen and the covered verandah are well suited to providing dining experiences.

Our lifestyle farm nestles in the unspoilt Naauwpoort valley. Puschka House is wonderful for families ( kids and dogs included!) . Because of its size it is not ideal as a romantic getaway for a single couple. It has DSTV with a fireplace for winter and outside a plunge pool and braai (barbeque) area . there are great walks and the bird life is prolific. Come to Puschka Farm and enjoy the comfy beds, the spacious areas, the views, the solitude and the bush atmosphere .

Inn The Bush farm stay

Inn the Bush Magaliesburg, is a large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom double story farm house that can comfortably sleeps maximum 6 guests. It's located 1 hr 45 minutes from Sandton City on a 25 hectare working cattle farm. It has 3-4km's of walking trails that can also be cycled on with an off road bike. A small dam for fishing and boating, swimming pool, amazing birds and wildlife. The perfect place to relax and recharge.
