Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Gammal liten väderkvarn, en något obekväm sommarstuga. Nära hav, ca en kilometer till badplats. Norr om Göteborg, 45 minuters bilväg. Lång takhöjd. Branta trappor. Öppen spis. Vedeldad bastu, strålande havsutsikt och badtunna. Enkelt ute och inne kök. Enkel ute och inne dusch. Unik miljö med bevarade delar av en ca 180 år gammal väderkvarn. Frukost ingår ej. Toalett dusch bastu i separata hus . Olämpligt om man har svårt med branta trappor, spindlar och är i behov av WC på natten.

Actualmente, completamente renovado e sob o nome “Abrigo do Moleiro” pretende ser um espaço acolhedor para turistas de todo o mundo proporcionando recordações únicas a quem nele pernoita. "De ouwe meule" is in 1877 gebouwd, daar hebben wij een sfeervolle bed en breakfast van gemaakt. Geheel in stijl, voorzien van keuken incl. oven, inductie kookplaat, koelkast en vaatwasser, 3 slaapkamers ( 1 voorzien van wastafel en omloop van de molen), douche incl. regendouche, apart toilet, smart tv en er is wifi aanwezig. Aan de achterzijde ruimte om te zitten en te barbecueën. Ook is er een eigen gratis parkeerplaats. Een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt is inbegrepen.

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
