Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Private property on our farm with many amenities, including Wi-Fi, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gym available. Very relaxing place!

Lizard Lookout

Come enjoy this peaceful piece of mountain living. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with neighbors hidden by the woods. You will have the entire upper level including an open loft with plenty of games, books, and toys. Nestled on Sauratown Mountain on 10 acres, Sauratown Mountain trails very close by with a view of Pilot Mountain from my very spacious deck. The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

The Cabin on Big Creek is a unique spot, private, with singing water on three sides. The creek is wide, accessible, kid-friendly. Queen bed and double futon. Minutes from HRSP, paddling, mountain biking. This is a hybrid between comfort and “glamping.” No WiFi, no cable, no TV. The hot & cold water sink and shower are outside. The toilet is an outhouse. Dog-friendly, $50 fee added in reservation. Pet disclosure is required and important. Bedding is provided, bring your own towels.

This stunning studio unit is conveniently located in downtown Pilot Mountain, within walking distance to all the shopping and dining Pilot has to offer. Newly renovated with a full kitchen and open concept, granite counters, 4 seat dining room table, sectional sofa, king size bed, and more. There are many things to do in the area, wineries, tons of events/festivals, hiking, mountain trails, ziplining, cannoning, and so much more! Pet friendly unit with large dog run out back.

We have seasonal berries and a well-stocked fishing pond. Visit the state parks then come home to catch a breeze on the porch swing, watch fireflies or roast hotdogs at the fire pit.
