The Tiny (off grid) House on Wai Māhanga Farm

Your Air Conditioned accoms are a small Off Grid Tiny Home. It is situated in Taumārere just out of Kawakawa on SH11 on the way to Paihia on our working Regenerative Farm. Specifically built for couples to enjoy the privacy and beautiful farm views over green paddocks to the Cycleway and Vintage Railway. Our tiny house is intimate, open plan, with a small kitchen incl a double gas stovetop and a wee fridge/freezer. Check out our waterhole, walk with the cows, relax and enjoy! Paihia 17min drive

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Evi started her days as a school bus in 1963 but now she is a one bedroom house bus on a lovely lifestyle block in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Be in the heart of the countryside with 25 acres to roam, sheep, pigs, and ducks to watch, lots of birdlife, and a river to enjoy and take a dip. Then drive just 10 mins to Kerikeri or 14 mins to Paihia to explore the sights, shops, cafes and restaurants.

Rose's Cottage

A self contained cottage. 1 minute walk from a long, white sand popular surf beach and 2 minutes to a beautiful tidal estuary. The cottage is behind my house in a semi tropical lush garden. Pataua is a perfect place for walking, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking or just relaxing. The garden is fenced so safe for babies and children or a small dog. My small dogs Ody and Tom share the garden. They are full of life but super friendly and gentle.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. We are so close to several beautiful beaches, including Waipu Cove, Uretiti, Ruakaka, Langs Beach and Mangawhai. Come 'home' to a really peaceful, private cabin situated in a pretty leafy garden with a fabulous outdoor space - deck, lawn, bathtub, firepit. Rest up, then a few minutes walk will take you to our local pub, restaurants and infamous Pizza Barn and Brewery.
