Comfortable, compact (5m x 3m) self-contained cabin for 2, upon a stunning private hilltop overlooking Taurikura Bay, Whangarei Heads. Affordable peace, quiet and privacy is our aim (1 night stays available most days). Grass camping space available (campers #3-8 will need to bring own tent/bed/linen /consumable items and supplies). The parking area is not situated by the cabin so sleeping in vehicles can only be done so at separate ends of the property. Safe ample parking sites available.

We are here if you require something, would like some local knowledge on things to do or a chat. Our place is located in the heart of the beautiful Taurikura Bay only a stone throw from the waters edge with views of the bay. We are surrounded by beautiful bush walking trails suitable for all levels of fitness & beautiful beaches to choose from.

Access to the Bach is down a short but moderately steep bush track(see photo).

This comfy 2 bedroom bach is an ideal holiday spot, with views of Mt Manaia & Whangarei Harbour from the deck, & a boat ramp with easy access to our mooring at the end of the driveway! There's a huge fenced off lawn for the kids. Also some of the best fishing and diving is right out in front. Little squirt is one to add to your bucket list!
