Coro Camping is a totally private eco camping site with your own river pool, hidden away in the beautiful and peaceful Rangihau Valley. Close to all the popular beaches with great biking and tramping on your doorstep. Our season runs from the beginning of December to the end of March. Each year we look forward to meeting new and existing clients to share our little piece of paradise. If you wish to bring the family or friends please get in touch to add extra people for your stay. Paradise awaits, our cozy, coastal self-contained cottage is ideally located, in a central, quiet and peaceful area and handy to the beach. Overlooking the Lake, it is perfect for a weekend getaway or longer to explore the Coromandel. A short stroll, Cooks is a beautiful sandy beach, very safe for swimming with many other stunning beaches nearby. Cooks Beach is made famous because Captain James Cook sailed on the HMS Endeavour into Mercury Bay in 1769 and anchored at Cooks Beach off Purangi.

The Lost Springs natural hot pools are a short walk away. This 1 bedroom spacious ground level unit is perfect for couples and has recently been renovated with a new kitchen and bathroom. Enjoy a complimentary Continental breakfast with fresh bread and spreads, cereals, tea and coffee. The flat is not suitable for children under the age of 8.

As the canal-front is unfenced, I am sorry, we cannot accept children.
