AWD isn't needed (our Nissan Altima does great) It can be intimidating at first, but you will conquer and in no time enjoy the challenge! The cabin is in a mountain community called Ocona Lake Estates. Located 5 miles from Bryson City and 5 miles from Cherokee NC/ Oconaluftee Visitor. Catoloochee Ski resort is 18 miles.

The views are gorgeous from the hot tub on the deck. Road to the cabin is mostly paved but the last few minutes are graveled with a few steep areas. The driveway is also. This is a beautiful, brand new log cabin. It is the perfect spot for a honeymoon or a romantic couple's retreat yet spacious enough to bring along 2 kids for a fun family getaway. This cabin sits tucked away right on the rushing creek.  While the cabin itself is gorgeous, the outdoor area is it's own little paradise.  With a fire pit by the creek, a spacious covered deck overlooking the water, porch rockers, and hot tub.
