Lovely Private Cabin close to city and wineries

Our private cabin nestled in the countryside provides a quiet escape from city living. Resting in a private peaceful clearing, the cabin offers sweeping views of a private pond and lush forest. Despite the rustic scenery the cabin has been recently remodeled and comes fully equipped with all the modern amenities to make you feel right at home. The property is 15 minutes to the University of Oregon, and Wine Country. And a short 25 minute drive SW of the cabin are the Why-pass Mt Bike Trails.

Comfortable, well lit upstairs living area over our home. Currently we have 2 bedrooms available, plus a full bath with corner shower, sitting area, dining table, microwave, full size fridge. Windows look out onto a quiet neighborhood, backyard and gardens. Located near the heart of Newberg's rich downtown district, close to parks, coffee shops, beer and wine tasting, farm to table restaurants, antique stores, movie theater, grocery store and Cultural Center. Our guests have use of the main space including: a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a full bath with a jetted tub, and open living space. We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

Our home is in the quaint historic Fairmount Hills Neighborhood. This loft is great for business travelers, couples, and solo adventurers. We are close to Downtown, Bush Park, Salem Hospital, Willamette University, and Convention Center. We are also a great home base for exploring wineries and other communities. Our neighborhood is a safe place to walk and explore and our property has security cameras to enhance your safety.
