Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country the 1100 SqFt private unit provides a unique opportunity to experience the north west. We are at the center of a hub with equal access to Hillsboro, Sherwood, Newberg and Beaverton for all of the night life and restaurants while being within a few miles of 100+ wineries. We also offer a wood fired pizza making experience (see below for details). All of this while experiencing rural Oregon. We are on 6 acres with only a few neighbors.

Tiny House Farm Stay

Cozy, rustic, well-outfitted 2-story tiny home on a 3-acre family farm with a blacksmith shop. The fenced property is surrounded by trees and includes open fields with a vineyard, orchard, outbuildings, and gardens. It is four blocks from the main street in Falls City, and a river and waterfall are within walking distance. The hosts and their two children live 150’ from the tiny house. Guests who book our “Forge a Knife” Experience (Vonhelmick Knife Co) receive a 15% discount on their stay.

For whatever brings you to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. The Casita Del Rio has been set up for maximum comfort and enjoyment on your vacation. We have two 4K TVs (one in the living room and one in the front bedroom) and a smaller TV in the back bedroom. There is a small workstation setup for remote work in the living room with both WiFi and ethernet cable access and board games available for your entertainment. A beautiful view over the river and a full kitchen also await you! *Brand New Ductless AC units in both bedrooms & living room!*

Our Hideaway studio is a cozy, recently renovated studio suite located within walking distance of downtown Salem, the state Capitol, and Willamette University. The Hideaway has total privacy, with your own entrance, full bathroom, kitchenette, and washer & dryer. Our neighborhood is close enough to downtown to enjoy walking to local restaurants, shops, Riverfront Park, and more. The I-5 freeway is a 5-minute drive from our home, making it easy to get to neighboring cities.

The Edgewater Cottage #6

This lovely 1930’s cottage has recently been renovated, but still has that cottage charm. Great view of Netarts Bay, comfy queen bed, and modern kitchenette. You’re just a short walk down the stairs to the bay, or you can relax in the beach chairs out front. Guests love the cottage feel and being able to watch the pelicans and herons or catch a beautiful sunset. It is one of two units with a common wall specially sound proofed for complete privacy.
