Penrith is the ‘heart of the Lake District’ and a good place to start discovering this wonderful area. We are only minutes from M6 junction 40. We welcome cyclists and walkers. There is a secure hallway for cycles.

We are located on the 3 Peaks route and close to the Pennine Way/Dales way. The property is surrounded by the finest walking and mountain bike trails in England. The tranquil farm is only two miles outside of Bowness-on-Windermere. There are great local pubs and eateries and walks. There is even a golf course less than half a mile away.

Beautiful barn conversion which is ideally situated for walkers and 3 Peaks Challenge adventurers! It offers 3 bedrooms in the main house and is within walking distance of the local pubs, café and train station and has its own private car park for guests. From April 2019 2 (dog friendly) micro lodges/pods will be added and are located in the walled garden area next to the main house, both with private terrace and bbq. Pods are en-suite and equipped with TV, fridge, microwave and sofa.

Breakfast is provided for you in the utility room, you are welcome to use our dining room.
