Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.

Lovely house for rent. Spacious living room, kitchen, and utility room. 3 bedrooms, 1 double, 2 singles, all en suite with walk in showers plus a downstairs toilet. Access to rear garden which is shared with my other Airbnb. Perfect place to explore the heart of the Lake District.

The Lake House

Beautiful 4 bed 3 story home just a 10 minute stroll to Bowness and the lake or into Windermere Village. Both villages have many restaurants and bars, but if you want something on the doorstep there is a bar and restaurant just around the corner, and a cosy pub close by.
