This secluded cabin in the woods is near Peterborough Ontario, about two hours from Toronto. Getaways offer a peaceful escape into nature. One queen and one twin bed up in the loft. The kitchen has a 2 burner counter top stove, fridge, toaster oven and kettle. Air Conditioning and WiFi. Charcoal BBQ. In the winter, spend a cosy day indoors or enjoy time outdoors. Two cross country ski/snowshoe locales—Kawartha Nordic Ski Club and Silent Lake Provincial Park—are within a half-hour drive.

Our beautiful cottage is situated right at the waters edge. The water is both child friendly being able to walk at the shore line or great for dive in off of the end of the dock. Enjoy sun all day & then enjoy the breathtaking sunsets from the western facing dock. All the water toys! Kayaks, tubes, stand up, paddle board, & Floats to enjoy the crystal clean water. Amenities in the area: LCBO, Home Hardware, Convince store - with some groceries available, Golf, Conservation area.

Christine's Log Cabin is directly across from the beautiful Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.
